Thermoshield EV
ThermoShield EV was created in response to one of the electric vehicle industry’s most urgent challenges — battery thermal runaway. When a lithium‑ion cell fails, it can trigger a chain reaction fire that is extremely difficult to extinguish, putting lives, vehicles, and brands at risk. Firefighters currently rely on flooding or immersion methods that waste huge volumes of water and create environmental hazards. ThermoShield EV introduces the world’s first family of integrated EV battery fire suppression systems — Active, Passive, and Hybrid — along with the patented FirePort™ access point that allows safe, targeted cooling directly into the battery enclosure. Our mission is to set a new global safety standard by stopping thermal runaway at its source and making electric mobility safer for everyone.
Global Problem – Global Solution
Battery thermal runaway is not limited by borders — it’s a worldwide safety and environmental challenge affecting every region adopting electric vehicles. To help share understanding and solutions, we’ve created this video in 20 languages. It explains the scale of the problem and how ThermoShield EV provides a practical, engineered response: stopping thermal runaway at its source and setting a new global standard for EV battery fire safety.

Courses
To support global understanding of the growing battery‑fire challenge, ThermoShield EV provides two free training courses designed for engineers, safety professionals, and first responders. Rethinking EV Thermal Runaway Safety examines why traditional, fuel‑based firefighting methods are no longer effective for high‑energy lithium‑ion reactions, presenting a new, proactive approach that stops runaway at its source. Global Solution to Thermal Runaway with Lithium‑Ion Batteries focuses on practical suppression using a PFAS‑free, plant‑derived wetting and encapsulating agent—an environmentally responsible technology proven to neutralize runaway events. Together, these courses build the essential knowledge needed to manage EV fire risks safely, sustainably, and with scientific confidence.
