This course has been designed to give you a greater understanding of passive fire protection and follows on from the level 2 course. It covers all the fundamental principles but goes into more depth in certain areas. The course has been designed to assist those preparing to sit the IFE Level 3 Certificate in Passive Fire Protection.

  • Fire stopping and penetration seals, cavity barriers and the building envelope, ductwork and dampers
  • Fire resisting doors, industrial shutters and associated hardware
  • Building regulations, approved documents and passive fire protection
